Permatex Gasket Remover is an aerosol product designed to remove gaskets and gasket residue from any type of metal or plastic housing. The product will also remove chemical formed-in-place gaskets. The Permatex Gasket Remover is a safe alternative to the harsh, chlorinated and brominated solvents found in many of today's standard gasket removing chemicals. Size: 4 ounce Low VOC formula Combines powerful gasket remover strength with an innovative delivery system Fast-foaming action penetrates the most stubborn or baked-on gaskets in 15-20 minutes Built-in brush-tip was designed for easy application and allows for scrubbing on intricate surfaces NOT recommended for use on silicone gaskets. Level 2 * Can be used in all 50 states. Suggested Applications: Automotive Removes solvent-based gasketing, anaerobic gasketing and gasket sealant products including all Permatex Form-AGasket, Spray-A-Gasket, Indian Head, High Tack Gasket Sealants and Dressings, baked-on gaskets and cements, and formed-in-place gaskets. Heavy Duty Engine valve connectors, oil pan covers Directions: Apply Gasket Remover by depressing pad to angle brush. Move brush in a circular motion ensuring all of the sealant is covered. Allow Gasket Remover to stand on the gasket sealant for at least (15) minutes. Removal time will vary depending on gasket sealant thickness. Wipe residue off with dry rag. Re-apply if necessary. Prep flange for new gasket by cleaning with Permatex Brake & Parts Cleaner.
